Armando Anthony "Chick" Corea (born June 12, 1941) is an American jazz pianist, and composer.
He is known as one of the most important jazz musicians and composers of his generation and many of his compositions are considered jazz standards. He participated in the birth of the electric jazz fusion movement as a member of Miles Davis' band in the 1960s, and in the 1970s formed Return to Forever.
