Roxette are a Swedish pop music duo, consisting of Marie Fredriksson (vocals) and Per Gessle (vocals and guitar). Formed in 1986, the duo became an international act from the late 1980s, when they released their breakthrough album Look Sharp! while their third album Joyride became just as successful. Roxette went onto achieve nineteen UK Top 40 hits and several US Hot 100 hits, including four US number-ones with "The Look", "Listen to Your Heart", "It Must Have Been Love", and "Joyride". Other hits included "Dangerous", "Fading Like a Flower" and "Dressed for Success".

From her beginnings in the sixties folk music scene in Boston, Maria Muldaur has continued to explore a range of American musics, first with the Jim Kweskin Jug Band, followed by a pair of albums with then-husband Geoff Muldaur. The '70s brought her commercial success with the release of her debut solo album and the single "Midnight at the Oasis.

Sade's debut album, Diamond Life, was released in 1984, reaching No. 2 in the UK album chart, selling over 1.2 million copies there alone. The album was also a hit internationally, reaching No. 1 in several countries and the Top Ten in the US where it has sold in excess of 4 million copies. Sade's US certified sales so far stand at 23.5 million units according to Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), and have sold more than 50 million units worldwide to date. They were ranked at #50 on VH1's list of the 100 greatest artists of all time.

On Standing on the Rooftop there's one very interesting collaborator that may have the key to opening new doors is the Rolling Stones', Bill Wyman, whom Peyroux met at the Nice Jazz Festival while waiting to hear B.B. King, and the two then began writing together. A strong point for Peyroux this year was performing their song for the children of a displaced persons' camp in Port-au-Prince, Haiti this summer.

"Perception" is a fortieth anniversary edition twelve disc box set by The Doors. The CDs contain the 1999 remastered editions of all the Jim Morrison albums, while the DVD-AUDIO discs contain new (2006) "40th Anniversary" remixes of them. Each album includes extra tracks consisting of previously unreleased session outtakes. Exclusive to the box set is a DVD-AUDIO disc with several live performances and other extras.
